Some observations have been made with the CTIO 4-meter telescope of the inconspicuous galaxy which was discovered by Fourcade and Figueroa near NGC 5128. It is catalogued as A 1332-45 in the Second Reference Catalogue. On a direct photograph, the galaxy is well-resolved into stars along a length of 16 arcmin of the major axis. The systemic velocity is 850 + or - 5 km/sec with a barely detectable velocity gradient of the order of 10 km/s per arcmin at the brightest, central part of the galaxy. The Fourcade-Figueroa object is probably a late-type galaxy seen edge-on at a distance about twice that of NGC 5128.
