A white hole in Schwarzschild spacetime and a distant static observer in an asymptotically flat region are considered. Photons reaching the observer are parameterized by a dimensionless impact value which yields the optical characteristics of an object at an instant in the observer's time. An analysis of such characteristics has thus far shown up only a redshifted point source, which at its inception could not have been greater than a trillion solar masses.
