We obtain characterizations and structure results for homogeneous principal
bundles over abelian varieties, that generalize work of Miyanishi and Mukai on
homogeneous vector bundles. For this, we rely on notions and methods of
algebraic transformation groups, especially observable subgroups and
anti-affine groups.
