The radius of the Kirin parent body is calculated from K-Ar ages to have been 200-220 kilometers, and the depth of the buried meteorite is calculated by application of a described thermal conductive model to be less than 20 km. The Kirin chondrite has an Ar-38 exposure age of 8.3 m.y. The relation between the exposure ages of chondrites and their dimensions is examined.
