For the relativistic motion (v ≅ c) of the plasmons or the relativistic shocks the apparent superluminal velocities can not be slower than vobs ≅ c for all possible orientations φ to the line of sight. Alternatively, for the motion of clouds of relativistic electrons inside stationary magnetic field tube the apparent velocities vobs may be less than the velocity of light c if φ > π/4, in particular, vobs → 0 for φ → π/2. The VLBI observations of the compact radio cores of some radio sources can distinguish between these alternatives.
