The present attempt to resolve the three small, edge-on galaxies NGC 891, 4565, and 5907 in FIR observations (obtained with the IRAS Chopped Photometric Channel instrument in the direction perpendicular to their major axes) has failed. Nevertheless, it is noted that the FIR emission distribution along the major axes is strikingly similar to the distributions of the nonthermal continuum emission and the molecular gas. The close correlation between total radio continuum and FIR flux densities noted by de Jong et al. (1985) is now found as a close correlation of the overall distribution within a particular galaxy.
