Using a new multi channel photometer, high time resolved (2s) photometric data of OY Carinae have been obtained simultaneously in 4 colours. OY Car was in quiescent state during the observing period of 10 consecutive nights. A high precision orbital light curve (25 averaged orbital periods) was used to derive system parameters without involving spectroscopic data. Improved masses m1 = 0.89 M_sun;, m2 = 0.1 M_sun; and radii r1 = 8.16×108cm, r2 = 1010cm were determined. The primary fits the mass radius relation for white dwarfs within 5%. The radius of the accretion disk determined directly from its eclipse contact times, amounts to 58% of its Roche radius. Colour variations during eclipse confirm the existence of a hot corona above the accretion disk. The orbital period was further improved.
