Photoelectric observations of the Be star HD 88661 obtained in January
1977 show a variability of 0.1 magnitude in V within a few nights. The
variations appear to be nonperiodic and do not affect the color indices.
Comparison with previous observations reveals the presence of long-term
brightness variations.
