CAIs and AOAs in CRs are mineralogically pristine (unaltered). In spite
of the O-isotopic homogeneity of individual CAIs, the compositions of
the CR CAIs and AOAs spread almost continuously over a wide range:
Delta17O = -3‰ - -24‰. All 16O-poor
CAIs have igneous textures.
