Spectroscopic measurements of gas velocities in the spiral galaxy NGC 157 are reported, which indicate the presence of noncircular motions, the prevalence of almost solid-body rotations out to 8-9 kpc from the center, and high M/L ratios along the periphery of the galaxy. In addition, a model comprising two thin, flat exponential disks is constructed from the rotation curve and Blackman's (1979) photometry.
