It is shown that an expansion of the quasar jet is measurable. The properties of radio emission of the jet were examined on the principle of the theory of homogeneous and inhomogeneous synchrotron components. A model was developed for studying the lateral oscillations of the jet. The discovery of a regular formed sinus wave is emphasized. Maps of very high resolution allowed the detailed study of jet kinematics.
