Plasma: Hydrodynamics

Scientific paper

On the basis of relativistic transport theory the equations of hydrodynamics are obtained for a mixture of electrons, protons and photons interacting by Compton scattering and Coulomb collisions. It is assumed that the electrons and protons are nonrelativistic and that their concentration is by far lower than the photon concentration. The equations can be applied to the description of a cosmological plasma in the temperature range 4×103K < T ≪ 6×109K.
