The Ultraviolet Imaging Telescope (UIT) obtained UV images of the galactic cluster NGC1502. We have performed photographic photometry and obtain UV magnitudes in wavelength bands at 1620 and 2490 angstroms for 15 cluster members. We compare the UV colors and magnitudes obtained with published UBV photometry and stellar atmosphere models to obtain cluster age and distance and determine the interstellar extinction in the ultraviolet. We find good agreement with published values of the age and distance based on visual observations, but find that for the colors to be consistent with the visual data, the ratio of selective to total absorption Rv must have an extreme value of about 4. This is not inconsistent with other determinations in this general direction in the sky. Support for JLS was provided through the NASA JOVE program.
