Searches at 5 GHz are made for compact H II regions associated with
maser and infrared sources in W 33, W 44, and GL 2591. No new compact
sources are found, but extended emission is observed toward the central
regions of W 33, the maser source W 33B, and the infrared source W 44
IRSI.
