We have made total intensity and polarization maps at 20 cm and 6 cm in matched arrays at the VLA of a sample of radio quasars with 0.8 < z < 1.25. These observations form part of a larger program to compare host galaxy and environmental properties in several samples of quasars. This sample of steep-spectrum, moderate radio luminosity quasars was selected to have the same redshift distribution as a complete 3C sample of quasars, and similar steep-spectrum radio properties to a sample of low-redshift quasars. Of our sample, 10 are found to be double-lobed sources, and of these, 6 have clearly identifiable one-sided jets. We find that these one-sided jet objects exhibit the depolarization asymmetry found in other samples of double radio sources with one-sided jets at somewhat higher radio powers (Laing 1988, Garrington et al 1988, Garrington et al 1991). This depolarization from 6 cm to 20 cm is significantly less in the jet-side lobe than in the counter-jet side lobe; this is consistent with the depolarization originating in Faraday effects from a halo of hot gas surrounding the object (Garrington & Conway 1991).
