By means of a spectroscopic survey of faint planetary nebulae it was found that the nuclei of IW 1 and Jn 1 belong to the class of the so-called "PG 1159" objects. The spectra show strong absorption features of He II and CIV, with no or only weak photospheric emissions, and resemble that of VV 47. Both the new PG 1159 central stars are an equivalent to the faintest hydrogen-rich nuclei, and this fact proves the existence of an evolutionary sequence from high to low luminosity also for hydrogen-free central stars.
