A survey was made, toward a selected sample of dark and molecular clouds, of the J = 1 - 0 line of CS and C(S-34), of the J = 4(3) - 3(2) line of C2S, and the J = 8 - 7 line of C3S. Surprisingly high C2S and C3S abundances are found towards Taurus. This fact and the good correlation between C2S and HC5N column densities, suggest that sulfur- and nitrogen-containing carbon chains could have a related chemistry.
