A2163 is one of the hottest known clusters with very luminous extended regions of radio emission. The cluster was observed by the RXTE for 530 ks during a six month period in 2004. Analysis of the observations revelas a significant level of nonthermal emission, in addition to the (previously measured) primary 15 keV thermal emission. We will present the results of our analysis and their meaning in the broader context of the current status of cluster high energy X-ray emission.
