High frequency oscillations have now been detected in giant flares from two Soft Gamma Repeaters. The most promising model for the oscillations involves global seismic vibrations, triggered by the giant flare. I will review the latest observational and theoretical results, and discuss how magnetar oscillations could be used to constrain the neutron star equation of state and crust composition.
