We present preliminary results of long-term RXTE observations of the pulsed fluxes of several young, rotation-powered pulsars. Specifically, we obtain pulsed flux time series over several year periods for PSR 1509-58, B0540-69, J1846-2058, J0205-6449 and J1811-1925 in order to search for variability and spectral changes. Although it is established that radio pulsed fluxes from
rotation-powered pulsars are stable on long time scales, to our knowledge this has not been checked at X-ray energies. Evidence for variability would have important implications for the X-ray emission mechanism.
