With reference to the Fermi LAT detection of the transient J0910-5041 located in the Galactic plane (Atel #1788), we report on two Swift/XRT observations of the region performed few days after the gamma-ray discovery. The X-ray data indicate the presence of only one source (Source n.1) within the 68% gamma-ray error circle at RA(J2000) = 09h 10m 57.52s, Dec(J2000) = -50deg 48m 10.7s (4.6 arcsec uncertainty).
