We report an improved position for the X-ray burster SAXJJ1753.5-2349 (e.g. Markwardt, Krimm & Swank, ATEL #1799) using Swift data from the recent target-of-opportunity observations on 2008 October 23. Using 182 s of XRT Photon Counting mode data and 1 UVOT image, we find an astrometrically corrected X-ray position (using the XRT-UVOT alignment and matching UVOT field sources to the USNO-B1 catalogue) of RA, Dec = 268.38290, -23.82130 deg which is equivalent to: RA (J2000): 17 53 31.90 Dec (J2000): -23 49 16.7 with an uncertainty of 2.3 arcsec (radius, 90% confidence).
