Optical observations of the transient Be/X-ray binary V0332+53 (ATel #1792), was carried out using 1-m Sampurnanand telescope at ARIES, Nainital. We observed the field in UBVRI bands for 4 hours since 19.287 hrs UT on 2008-10-21. To calibrate the photometry, we also observed the SA95 and PG2213 Landolt (1992) standard fields during the same night. The transient source magnitudes during our observations are U=17.49+/-0.02, B=17.17+/-0.01, V=15.41+/-0.01, R = 14.23+/-0.01 and I=13.04+/-0.01.
