Following the detection of the new hard X-ray transient by MAXI/GSC (ATel #2873) confirmed by INTEGRAL (ATel #2875) and in the radio band by WSRT (ATel #2874), we searched for significant excess in the AGILE data at the MAXI source position (R.A., Dec = +254.79 deg, -15.27 deg, J2000). Integrating from 2010-09-25 00:00 UT to 2010-09-26 14:00 UT, a maximum likelihood analysis yields a 95 % C.L. upper limit of 80 e-8 ph/cm2/s (E > 100 MeV).
