We discuss the recently discovered large-scale structure of Lyman-alpha emitters (LAEs). Such structures are extended over more than 50~ Mpc at redshift z = 3.1, and exhibit considerably weak angular correlation (Hayashino, et al., (2004)). Such properties of LAE distributions appear to be incompatible with the standard biased galaxy formation scenario in the cold dark matter (CDM) cosmology. So, by considering the possibility that LAEs are short-lived events, we build up a picture of LAEs concordant with the CDM cosmology. We find that if lifetimes of LAEs are as short as about 1~ Gyr, the distribution of simulated galaxies successfully match the observation (Shimizu, et al., (2007)). In this study, we present the verification of a novel picture of LAEs.
