Emission spectroscopy measurements performed in the VKI-minitorch working with a gas mixture representative of the Titan atmosphere were conducted. Absolute, local emission coefficient measurements were obtained fitting the requirements for radiation code validation. The set-up and the first results are presented herein. The state of the plasma for which the measurement are performed is unknown. Further analysis is necessary. The TALIF technique could be used to probe the atomic species present in the flow. The set-up and the first TALIF measurements are presented.
