We report on results on the ultra high energy cosmic ray spectrum based on data from the Fly's Eye atmospheric fluorescence experiment, the HiRes prototype/CASA/MIA hybrid experiment, and the first year of operation of the first station of the HiRes experment. Results will be presented on the cosmic ray spectrum, composition and anisotropy from 1017 to greater than 1020 eV. Plans for completion of the second HiRes site and for expansion of this experiment to a larger number of sites will be discussed.
