We analyze the evolution of the cosmological gravitational wave and the vorticity in a gravity with quadratic order gravitational coupling terms. The gravitational wave is described by a fourth order differential equation both in time and space while the gravity with a general f(R) term leads to the second order differential equation. The vorticity evolution appears to be independent of the general nature of the gravity theory, and is simply interpreted as a conservation of the angular momentum.
