Recent ASCA detection of Fe fluorescence line from a Seyfert nucleus may point to the importance of black hole magnetosphere physics for accretion-powered AGN, while until very recently most efforts in this area have been devoted to rotation-powered AGN. We have been exploring black hole magnetospheres of accretion-powered AGN, and here we will present our results, which may help us answer such important questions as, e.g., whether a Kerr black hole is needed for an accretion-powered AGN.
