After a rapid review of the different activities which have contributed to the understanding of solar neutrino detections, I shall present very precise helioseismic results which constrain the solar structure and begin to reveal the solar core. Sound speed, density and rotation profiles are new interesting tools to explore the central region in order to go beyond the standard solar model. Therefore helioseismology allows a better estimate of the emitted neutrino fluxes and of their related accuracy. Then I shall mention the open questions and propose new directions of improvements.
