Recent progress in the measurement of H0 from observations of the Sunyaev-Zeldovich (S-Z) effect is reviewed. Improvements in the implementation of this method (which is based on Compton scattering of the CMB by hot gas in clusters of galaxies) to determine H0 include realistic description of the temperature distribution of intracluster gas, more exact relativistic calculations of the effect, and better assessment of some of the observational uncertainties. With the knowledge gained from detailed interferometric S-Z observations and cluster X-ray images, the considerable number of clusters already observed, and planned observations in the near future, it is realistic to expect the determination of H0 by this method to become usefully accurate.
