Time evolution of the instantaneous spectra within pulses in Gamma-Ray Bursts (GRB) is reviewed. Especially, we consider its effect on the time-integrated spectra and present important results, which are useful in the analysis of GRB spectral data. We also discuss the implications for the overall spectra of GRBs and interpret the results in a physical context. A number of strong GRBs, observed by the BATSE detectors on the Compton Gamma Ray Observatory, are analysed applying these results.
