Voyager 2 observations of Neptune and Triton are discussed, noting the meteorological, geophysical and astronomical discoveries made during the Voyager 2 mission. Observations of Neptune's Great Dark Spot and cloud motions are presented, focusing on the proposed methane cycle on the planet. The Neptune magnetic field is examined and illustrated. Consideration is given to the discovery of six new moons and three narrow rings around the planet. In addition, results from observations of the atmosphere of Triton are given.
