The historical background, the characteristics and the merits of the new version of SXTQ - the management system of literature and information via microcomputers are introduced. In the new version the FoxPro system is adopted, because the FoxPro has more merits than dBASE. e.g., the high velocity, the powerful interface, the helpful tools, etc. The improved parts of the new version of SXTQ are described and the procedure of setting up this system is also presented.
