The infrared spectroscopic study of supernova 1987A is carried out. A detailed view of the interior of a supernova explosion is obtained. The supernova 1987A infrared spectrum is analyzed at the early time and by day 200. It is shown that as the supernova aged, forbidden lines became increasingly prominent. About 20 species, including molecules, were identified. Approximate estimates of mass of iron and cobalt in the ejecta were obtained. Comparison of infrared spectral models and observational data is suggested.
