I present results from recent time-dependent hydrodynamical calculations of flows that are under the influence of supermassive black hole gravity and radiation from an accretion disk surrounding the hole. The calculations take into account radiation heating/cooling and the radiation force due to electron scattering and spectral lines. I show how the mass accretion and outflow rates, and the flow dynamics respond to thermal effects and effects of radiation pressure and gas rotation. The main focus of this work is to gain insights into the problem of AGN feedback which is studied with current X-ray missions and is relevant to the science proposed for Con-X.
