Positions of the extreme points of OC diagrams and the surface density of sunspot groups in OC diagrams are determined. It is indicated that the surface density of sunspot groups is homogeneous in the direction of the two axes of the OC diagrams and in all OC diagrams identical and independent of the area development curve of the sunspot group, which is not fulfilled in Minnaert's diagram.
