Six pulsars were detected at 25 MHz with the Arecibo 1000 foot (304 m) radio telescope. Three of these had been previously reported by other observers to exhibit sporadic, intense interpulse emission (IPE) at decameter wavelengths. In the present high signal-to-noise ratio profiles, there was no evidence for interpulse emission. The integrated profiles of the two strongest low-frequency pulsars, PSR 0950+08 and PSR 1133+16, set the strongest limits on IPE. For those two, there was no interpulse emission exceeding 5 percent of the main pulse height for PSR 0950+08 and 3 percent for PSR 1133+16. It is asserted that previous reports of the controversial IPE were largely an artifact of poor signal-to-noise ratios in low-frequency profiles.
