Objective prism spectroscopy was used to provide accurate positions, approximate magnitudes, and identification charts for 372 K and early M type suspected supergiant stars in the SMC. The present list contains 200 KM supergiant candidates not included in the Prevot et al. (1983) study. The KM supergiants in the SMC are found to have systematically earlier spectral types than those of the LMC and the Galaxy. The results support the finding of Prevot et al. that the frequency of Harvard variables among KM supergiant candidates is much lower in the SMC than in the LMC.
