The transition probabilities of M2 and E2 were calculated for the 18 ions isoelectronic with N I from Z = 9 to 26 as part of a study on the forbidden lines between the 2p3 energy levels of neutral nitrogen and singly-ionized oxygen. The present calculation included wavefunctions, semiempirical term energy corrections, and relativistic corrections to the magnetic dipole transition operator. It is estimated that the relative error in the present results is likely to be 10 percent or less for all significant transitions. It is believed that these probabilities should be of use in astrophysical and fusion research.
