Observations of the interstellar CH(+) line at 4232 A toward Zeta Oph were carried out to determine the C-12/C-13 ratio in the Zeta Oph cloud. Values obtained for the equivalent widths of the (C-12)H(+) and (C-13)H(+) line together with the (C-12)H(+)/(C-13)H(+) ratio inferred from these data are compared with earlier data. Good agreement is found with Vanden Bout (1972) and Vanden Bout and Snell (1980) but not with Bortolot and Thaddeus (1969) and Hawkins et al. (1985). Explanations for discrepancies are provided. The results suggest that the (C-12)/(C-13) ratio has not changed very much over the past 4.6 Gyr.
