Spectrophotometry of the optical region λλ3300-7100 is presented for seven moderately sharp-lined silicon stars HD 6164, HD 8855, HD 11187, RD 171782, HD 190068, HD 200311, and HD 220147. The energy distributions show definite λ4200 and λ5200 broad, continuum features as well as other deviations from the predictions of normal stellar model atmospheres. Evidence is presented for photometric variability in these 7th and 8th magnitude stars. Problems in correcting for possible reddening and in matching the data with the predictions of normal stellar model atmospheres are discussed.
