An investigation is made of the method suggested by Bonometto and Lucchin (1980) of estimating the four-point function, by using the Zwicky catalog of galaxies. Although noisy, the results seem reliable, and clearly encourage the application of this method to the type of survey for which it was designed, and specifically to the high resolution Lick data of Seldner et al (1977).
