Radio observations at 0.8 cm wavelength of a quiescent prominence set
behind the solar limb give a chance to measure its structure. The
chromosphere under the prominence gives no radio emission: the radio
radius is equal to the optical one. From the interpretation of the solar
eclipse of July 31, 1981 the same follows.
