Scientific paper

New photoelectric observations in two wavelengths (B and V) of the W UMa-type system AG Virginis are presented. The light curves of the system are analysed using Frequency Domain techniques and new geometric and photometric elements are derived. These elements are combined with the available spectroscopic data of the system and new absolute parameters of AG Virginis are given.
