A total of 880 measurements of velocity dispersions for 546 galaxies have been compiled. These data have been used to look for biases introduced by the observational techniques and reduction procedures. Two main effects have been corrected for, due to the reference and the slit width. A catalog of homogeneous data has been compiled, where the raw data are corrected for these effects.
