We present the first systematic radial-velocity measurements of Magellanic Cepheids. For six Cepheids in the Large Magellanic Cloud, we give 306 radial-velocity measurements, covering their complete periods. The B magnitudes range from 13 to 15.5, and the periods from 31 to 78 days. All measurements were made with the Coravel photoelectric scanner attached to the Cassegrain focus of the 1.54 m Danish telescope at La Silla, ESO, Chile, from January 1981 to October 1983. Each star was observed approximately 50 times. The radial-velocity phase diagrams have been smoothed and a velocity-time relation fitted. The stellar radius variation has been calculated over the whole period.
