A simplified model of the vibrational excitation of interstellar ammonia is examined. Assume that the rotation-inversion lines (e.g. JK = 10→00) and the inversion lines (e.g. JK = 11) are excited in the same radiation field with the radiation temperature Trd and the filling factor f. Using the observation data of the inversion lines (e.g. JK = 11) to select the suitable parameters, the rotation temperature, optical depth and the intensity of the rotation-inversion lines (e.g. JK = 10→00) can be estimated.
