Over 2500 observations in each of the B and V passbands were made on the small amplitude δ-Sct star BD +28°1494 during a three months interval in 1983-84, by means of a two beam photometer. Their analysis was performed using least-squares multiperiod fittings. Four frequencies were found. According to the ratios of periods and to the phase lag between light and colour curves nonradial modes are present in BD +28°1494.
