I observed the Type Ibc SN 2007uy (IAUC 8908) with the Very Large Array beginning on 2008 Jan 6.18 UT. I detect a radio transient at RA=09:09:35.30 Dec=+33:07:09.1 with an uncertainty of 0.1 arcsec in each coordinate which is coincident with the optical position. At 8.46 GHz, the measured flux density of the source is 290 +- 30 microJy. Follow-up observations with the Very Large Array are ongoing.
